This meet is a prelims/finals meet for 11 & Over swimmers and a timed finals meet for 10 & Under swimmers. We are not the host team for this meet, although it is held at the Rock Hill Aquatics Center.

Sunday (1/20) AM Warm – Up Adjustments
Due to our
timeline the following changes have been made to Sunday’s
Sunday AM: Warm-up 8:00am, Start 9:00am
The Open & 11-12 500 Free is a positive Check-In Event. The 11-12 200 IM & Senior 400 IM will be pre-seeded.
Just a reminder, Saturday & Sunday will be prelims / finals for the top 20 13 - 14 swimmers and top 20 Senior age groups. 11-12 age groups will be prelims / finals taking the top 10 at night. Swimmers who do not intend to swim in finals must be scratched by their coach within 30 minutes of the event being announced so we can ensure that athletes wanting to swim in finals get the chance to do so. Remember to check if your swimmer is in finals or is an alternate for finals before you leave the pool at the end of the preliminary sessions!
*The South Carolina scratch rule will be in effect at this meet. A swimmer qualifying to swim in the A or B (consolation final) final race based upon the results of the preliminaries must notify the referee within thirty (30) minutes after the announcement of the qualifiers for that race that they may not intend to compete. Failure of an individual to compete in the final race of the individual event will result in the competitor being barred from further competition for the remainder of the meet.
Spectators will be limited to areas designated. Bleacher seating will be available. Spectators and athletes may bring chairs, but the chairs or any other item cannot be used to reserve seats between sessions and may not be placed in front of the bleachers. Only swimmers, officials, coaches and meet personnel will be permitted on deck. Chairs are recommended on deck (bleachers will not be provided).
For the 500 & 1000 Free, swimmers will only need to provide their own counter.
Coolers / Etc.
There will be a concession stand open in the front lobby with drinks, snacks, etc for families and swimmers. Coolers and chairs are allowed on deck with the athletes. Coolers and chairs are not permitted in the spectator / bleacher area.
The parking lot directly next to the facility is reserved for handicap permits, coaches, officials, and meets staff. In order to receive your parking pass, you must present your coach or USA Swimming registration card. Parking for swimmers, parents, and spectators will be located at the school, plus the road going to the school. There is also a gravel lot adjacent to the lobby entrance. Parking along Rawlinson Rd and where NO PARKING signs are posted is not allowed. ROCK HILL POLICE WILL TOW CARS THAT ARE PARKED IN RESTRICTED AREAS.
All USA Swimming Officials and Apprentices are welcome. Those pursuing further official advancement with apprentice sessions will be supported.
